Christopher Titmuss and Totnes Palestine Group are organising a silent walk in single file up Totnes High Street this Saturday July 19th in protest at the Israeli war on Gaza. The Walk will start on the Plains at 11 am at the bottom of the high street to the market.
This will be similar to our silent walks during the wars on Iraq and Afghanistan and is aimed at raising awareness about the situation and seeking another way of ending the violence.
You can bring a placard or statement that expresses your feelings about what is happening. Or just walk silently to express a desire for the killing and destruction to end.
People of all faiths and none are welcome!
